Castle Equipment was established in 1978 specializing in heavy haulage and earthmoving repairs. Then diversified into heavy equipment hire for Local Shires and Main Road construction projects. For over 30 years Castle Equipment has supplied construction and earthmoving equipment along with experienced operators to companies such as Hanson, Holcim, BGC, Brierty, Ertech, NRW, FMG, Leightons, Theiss, ACH, Georgiou, McMahon and Boral.
With the acquisition of the Narrogin Quarry, the Company expanded into crushing and screening to industry standard specifications. With this expertise Castle Equipment fulfil large crushing and screening projects throughout WA. Narrogin Quarry Operations have supplied quality granite to local shires and companies such as Boral, Fulton Hogan, The Water and Carbon Group, Narrogin Earthmoving and Concrete, Georgiou. As well as many concreting companies, farming groups and individuals for over 16 years. Quality is upheld with testing to ensure material meets industry standards.
Castle Equipment has a large fleet of earthmoving equipment ranging from D10, D9, D8 and D6 Bulldozers, 633D, 627E and 637E Scrapers, 22-75 tonne range of Excavators, 966-992 range of Front End Loaders and 40 tonne Articulated and 40-50 tonne Rigid Dump Trucks, Service trucks 6x4 and 16H Grader.
Within its range of crushing equipment, there are 8 tracked Jaw Crushers, 9 tracked Cone Crushers, 9 tracked
Screening Plants and 4 tracked Stockpilers’. 2 large radial Stockpilers and 1 programmable telescopic Stockpiler
with anti-segregation capabilities. Also, in our fleet 3 Franna and 1 Grove cranes. All our equipment comes with
the backing of an extensive workshop and onsite facilities. Our Fitters are equipped with full support vehicles and
our Service Trucks and Workshop have procedures in place for full waste recycling.
In addition to our earthmoving operations Castle Equipment has also developed a new concept Stump grinder that
has revolutionized plantation rehabilitation turnaround time. A 405-hectare section of the Boyup Brook property
has now been reverted back to farm land and in crop in around 12 weeks.
A Ferguson Valley property is also part of our operation and in conjunction with cattle breeding is in the process
of a gravel extraction review.
Industry Experience
Extensive Crushing skills, industry expertise and continued performance has been demonstrated via execution of numerous rail, ballast and iron ore contracts.
Rail
Castle Equipment has extensive rail construction experience. Observing construction through large granite bearing hills has allowed them to establish quarry sites and supply rail ballast at considerable savings. From these quarry sites, Castle has crushed in excess of 2.3 million tonnes for projects such as the original FMG rail line, Christmas Creek and Solomon rail lines
Iron Ore
Crushing experience also extends to the iron ore market. Castle Equipment’s involvement with a number of large iron ore companies has resulted in excess of 10,000,000 tonnes crushed to date.
Quarry Operations
Castle Equipment has extensive experience in all facets of blue rock laterite and mineral crushing. They own and operate Narrogin Quarry, located at Lot 171 Quarry Rd, Minigin/Narrogin Western Australia where they conduct drill and blast operations.
The quarry provides extensive supplies of railway blast, road sealing and concrete aggregates, drainage stone, armour rock and road base to a large range of contracting entities, rural clients, farming entities and many local shires.

Spacer-Tech
Castle Equipment also offers parts and support for heavy haulage wheel end components, being the patented Spacer Tech wheel bearing spacer and a new style bearing retainer. Further details can be viewed at www.spacertech.com.au
The bearing spacer system was developed to ensure accurate and a safer setting for wheel bearings. Once a wheel end is assembled with the Spacer Tech system, guarantee of 4 times the bearing life and the assurance of permanent bearing running clearances. The Spacer Tech system delivers an enormous safety element and also huge cost savings due to less downtime in the shop.
Easy to follow instructions are included with each part along with online support. Spacer Tech has branched into the United States NASCAR market, as the benefit of accurate wheel bearing adjustment has been recognized as imperative to performance and reliability.
